Michelle joined Ann's Nest in May 2026 as our Development & Operations Coordinator. She moved to Northern Michigan from the Pacific Northwest in 2021 and has called it home ever since.

Michelle holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law. After law school, she turned her focus to accounting and bookkeeping, and she is the founder of Long Hill, LLC, where she provides bookkeeping and financial services to small businesses and nonprofit organizations across Northwest Michigan. That experience brings a steady, thoughtful perspective to her work with our team and our community.

Away from the office, Michelle lives with her husband, Derek, and their son. You'll often find her skiing downhill, hiking, gardening, or anywhere on or in the water.
